Thousands of homes and businesses are without power as high winds tear through New Brunswick.
According to NB Power’s website, there are 574 outages affecting more than 54,000 customers as of 5:18 p.m. Friday.
“While we have recovered from the impacts of the last two storms, some trees are vulnerable to being uprooted and making contact with lines,” the utility said in a tweet Friday morning.
On Thursday, NB Power said crews are centrally located and ready to respond if outages occur.
