A trip to Partridge Island on the breakwater lead to both rescue of one woman and a warning for everyone.
On Monday, the Saint John Fire Department and the Coast Guard had to be used to get a 22-year-old woman, who had injured an ankle, off the breakwater.
Her two friends had already made it on foot to the island, once they were all taken off the island they were given a reminder about the risk there is for anyone using the breakwater and for first responders who have to come to their rescue.
