Despite recent health issues, Beausejour MP Dominic LeBlanc has announced he’ll be running again as a Liberal candidate in this fall’s federal election.
Appearing bald in a video posted to Twitter, LeBlanc says he appreciates the well-wishes received as he undergoes treatment for non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
I want to thank all those who have supported me over the last couple of months. My treatments are going well, and I can't wait to see you all on the campaign trail across Beauséjour. Please see my update below. pic.twitter.com/zwHFENTNX1

LeBlanc says he has completed three treatments.
He adds doctors are very encouraged by the results so far and expect the treatments will wrap up this summer.
LeBlanc stepped away from his cabinet duties in April when he announced he was being treated for non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
In 2017, LeBlanc was first diagnosed with cancer – a form of leukemia – but announced he was in remission last fall.
