The Conservatives have a half percentage point lead over the Liberals according to the latest poll from Nanos Research.
They are at 35.1 percent, Liberals are 34.6, NDP 16.6, the BQ at 4.4 percent, the Greens at 8.1 and the People’s Party of Canada at 0.5 percent support.
As for preferred leader for Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau has a strong lead at 31.1 percent, then Andrew Scheer with 26.7, Jagmeet Singh has 7.8, Elizabeth May 7.6 and Maxime Bernier of the PPC is at 2.7 percent support.
Twenty-three percent of those asked where unsure who they wanted to be PM.
