New Brunswick Community College announced this week that a new President and CEO will take over its operations later this summer.
Mary Butler is set to become the new President and CEO of NBCC on July 1st.
She will take over for current NBCC President Marilyn Luscombe, who is retiring in June.
A statement from the college notes this week’s appointment follows an extensive search process, which last fall included consultations with employees and stakeholders in all six of the college’s regions.
Butler has served as NBCC’s Vice-President Academic and Research since 2016, after working as the college’s first Vice-President of College and Community Development.
