Extremely cold weather in the region is forcing cancellations in the region.
St. Martin’s school closed over the lunch hour because of the power outage. Several school buses were late because they couldn’t get started in the bitter weather.

Poor weather in Nova Scotia means the Halifax Mooseheads can’t travel so tonight’s game at Harbour Station with the Sea Dogs has been postponded.
Hang on to your tickets as this game will be re-scheduled.
The high winds also cancelling all crossings of the Fundy Rose ferry between Saint John and Digby.
