The Canadian Automobile Association is wary about legalising marijuana and whether this will make the roads more dangerous with more impaired driving.
The C-A-A’s Gary Howard says a lot of other people are concerned as well judging by a poll revealing 63 per cent of those people surveyed are worried about public safety once marijuana is legal.
Howard says there should be a strong public education campaign because he finds it alarming that the same poll showed 26 per cent of people surveyed said they thought people could drive as well or even better under the influence of marijuana.
