The entertainment world has lost another memorable actor.
Alan Thicke was well known for a number of roles, including his part in the 80’s as Dr. Seaver on the show Growing Pains.
.He was also a composer of music, which included the theme songs to sitcoms Different Strokes and the Facts of Life.
He died last night at the age of 69. Reports say he had a heart attack while playing hockey with his son in Los Angeles.

Thicke was a Canadian, born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario.
