Christmas shopping at McAllister Place is a lot different this year with the empty space left by Sobeys.
Sobeys moved after building their own store in the East Point Shopping area.
General Manager David Green says an agreement has been reached to fill the space in 2018.
That means the space will be left empty throughout 2017.
Green couldn’t give any details on what company will be filling the space.
