It looks like driving too fast played a role in the death of a 23 year old Fredericton man who died after a crash in Lincoln last night.
Oromocto RCMP responded to the crash just after 9pm on Route 102 where a car travelling eastbound on Route 102 left the road and hit a hydro pole.
The driver was the only person in the vehicle and he died at the scene from his injuries.
The RCMP tell us that excessive speed is believed to be a factor in this crash.
