Devin Morningstar’s fate now rests in the hands of seven women and five men.
The jury is starting their first full day of deliberations today to find a verdict in the trial for first degree murder and arson.
Morningstar is the first of three people to stand trial for the violent death of Baylee Wylie back in December 2015.
Justice Walsh gave the jury an exhaustive list of instructions yesterday before they went into deliberations to aid them render a verdict.
For the murder charge, the jury can find Morningstar guilty of first or second degree murder, or manslaughter.
Additionally they can find him not guilty.
Whatever the decision they reach, the jury must be unanimous in their verdict.
