The Toronto Blue Jays remain alive in the American League championship after a 5-1 win over Cleveland. Josh Donaldson hit a homer in the third inning that gave the Jays the lead for the first time in the playoff series. Game five goes this afternoon at 5:00 with Marco Estrada starting for Toronto against Ryan Merritt of Cleveland.
Rich Hill allowed just two hits over six innings to beat Cy Young Award winner Jake Arrieta and the Chicago Cubs 6-0 to give the Los Angeles Dodgers a 2 games to 1 lead in the National League championship series. Game 4 will be played tonight after the Jays and Cleveland.
