Vice-President Rejean Despres, it was an opportunity to help stimulate economic growth for the region, “If this can mean five more jobs in Riverview, because an Entrepreneur was inspired to try something new, it’s our way of contributing to making sure we’re playing our role in the eco-system of the economy.”
He says there was a variety of demonstrations and workshops, “The technology that was there was a means to an end. We had virtual reality, we had presentations on how to negotiate and how to and control your emotions. More importantly, we wanted to create connections between these Entrepreneurs.”
This NB Camp is one of eight being held across the country and it was the only one held in Atlantic Canada.

Despres says their hope to to hold other camps, with different themes, so entrepreneurs are learning news way and initiatives all the time, “We had a really great vibe yesterday. Our people from marketing that were there really enjoyed the Moncton event. We’re thinking about possibly other parts of the province where we can hold the event as well, and we’ll bring new ideas each time and it won’t be a repeat of the last camp, it will be a new camp.”
