The Concerned Citizens of Charlotte County group have finally met with government to discuss the future of the Charlotte County Hospital.
This comes only one day before the group is set to host a Town Hall meeting on the same topic, and almost two months since Premier Brian Gallant commited to scheduling a meeting with the group.
Co-chair of CCCC, John Gardner, says his team met with Health Minister Victor Boudreau, as well as Charlotte-Campobello MLA John Ames and a representative for the Premier’s office.
He tells us representatives were also present from Horizon Health, the Saint John Regional Hospital, and several doctors were present, but noone was there from the Charlotte County Hospital.
Gardner says he will be discussing what happened with Boudreau during a Town Hall Meeting tomorrow (Saturday, Sept 24th) at the Garcelon Civic Center in St. Stephen. That meeting begins at 2 o’clock.
