The National Energy Board hearings in Montreal were cancelled for the day after a group of protesters disrupted the proceedings.
The hearings into the proposed 15 billion dollar Energy East pipeline are expected to resume tomorrow.
Montreal Mayor Denis Coderre was scheduled to speak, but didn’t get the opportunity to do so due to the protest.
Coderre has been vocal in his opposition of the pipeline.
