The Moosehead small batch brewery in Saint John has a new option on tap that will help the victims of a devastating fire.
The brewery is serving the Resilience Butte County Proud IPA from the Sierra Nevada Brewing Company in Chico, California near the location of the Camp Fire last November which killed 85 people and burned 153,000 acres.
Marketing and Sales V.P. Trevor Grant says all proceeds from the sale of this beer will help those impacted by the fire.
“We have a bit of a relationship with them (the Sierra Nevada Brewing Company) and we’ve had the opportunity to visit their brewery,” he said.
They put a call out to all other brewers not just in the United States but North America-wide and it’s gone well beyond that.
“Over 1400 breweries around the globe that are brewing this beer,” said Grant.
Grant says the Sierra Nevada Resilience IPA is available for a limited time so he encourages everyone to try it and support a worthy cause.
