Worrying news for sick kids in Halifax today….the IWK is providing urgent and emergency care only today because of a power loss.
A statement from the IWK Health Centre says they’re currently operating on limited power. All elective surgeries and non-urgent appointments have been cancelled and will be rescheduled.
Patients and families should call the hospital if they need more information about elective surgeries or non-urgent appointments.
