It’s a big day at UNB Saint John as it receivies $2 million dollars to focus on care geared towards the patient.
The school announcing the new Jarislowsky Chair in Interprofessional Patient-Centred care to be held by Dr. Shelley Doucet.
Dr. Shelley Doucet tells CHSJ News she’s not feeling extra pressure, since she has an excellent team of grad students and fellow researchers working with her.
The $1 million dollar contribution from the Jarislowsky Foundation was matched by $500,000 contributions from the Sir James Dunn Foundation and the New Brunswick Health Research Foundation.
