The Province unveiling a report on the economic impact of 5 major energy and mining projects which shows the potential investment of $8.6 billion dollars between 2015 and 2020.
The projects include the Energy East pipeline, shale gas development and the LNG export terminal.
David Campbell of Jupia Consultants tells CHSJ News the report took about 6 to 8 months to complete.
When asked if he interviewed people working for the companies involved Campbell said some of it was confidential and some wasn’t so he stuck to information from the public domain for his report.
Campbell says $100 million dollars for the province in revenue from one of these projects could cover the salaries of 1400 nurses, 1500 teachers or 1700 social workers.
