Whether it’s shopping, entertaining family or budgeting for gifts, the holiday season can bring on some serious stress.
Jennifer Grace teaches transformation at Stanford University, she says living in the moment can help you avoid all the holiday stress.
Grace says a technique she finds helpful is called 5-4-3-2-1, where you find five things in the room, touch four different objects, listen for three different sounds, smell two different things and taste one, especially if it’s chocolate.
She says the technique allows you to get out of your own head and get away from the stress.
