A water by-law in Rothesay has been tabled for the time being in hopes of being more fair to the business owners involved.
The by-law will make it mandatory for certain businesses to connect to the town’s main water line.
Homestar owner Mark Hatfield says he just can’t afford the costs associated with connecting to the towns main line.
Hatfield says himself and other business owners are being forced to pay for a mistake made by the town in the past.
Mayor Bill Bishop says the by-law will be looked at again in the next few months.
