Five new constables are now members of the Saint John police force.
The new officers are Constables Neil Savary, Benaiah Sok, David Janes, Dylan Jones and Patrick Kenney.
Police chief Bruce Connell tells us bringing in new members is one of greatest privileges a chief of police has.
“Our police force is 170 years old this year so to have new energy, members that bring a different dynamic and a different view on things is really important because that is what makes us a great team at the end of the day.”
The new officers took their oath in front of Judge Kelly Winchester and their new badges were blessed by Monsignor Henneberry.
