There were no injuries but plenty of disruption to your morning routine after a jeep collided with a hydro pole at 244 Loch Lomand Road just beyond the oil refinery shortly after 3:30 this morning.
Police say it appears the 21 year old driver was under the influence of drugs at the time of the crash.
Power in that part of the east side is out and traffic has been disrupted.
Police say Loch Lomand Road is blocked to traffic from Mark Drive to St. Anne Street. Traffic is being rerouted down Rockcliffe Street.
Saint John Energy will have to replace the hydro pole. 4 thousand homes and businesses in that area lost power.
Saint John Energy tweeting just 7 customers are still without power.
