This is Tourism Awareness Week and it features some events to remind frontline workers in Saint John about all reasons people should visit.
Volunteers from Hospitality Saint John will host a series of events to energize themselves as they gear up for the new tourism season.
Tours and information sessions will be held to refresh workers on why 1.5 million visitors come to Saint John every year.
On Wednesday, a trade show will be held in the Market Square atrium from 11am to 2pm.
It will give the public a chance to have a look at what’s new and interesting this season.
The 3rd annual Loved the Service awards will also be launched. Visitors and locals are encouraged to nominate anytime they receive “over the top” service in Greater Saint John between now and October.
