Community Day at the Port has turned into one of the most popular events in the city. Paula Copeland of the Port Authority says young people can bounce on the inflatable castles, play carnival games and eat lots of cotton candy.
There will be live entertainment for all ages and, of course, a barbecue.
Military equipment will be on display. The event has become so popular that tickets will be handed out for the rides to let people know what time they can get on so they don’t have to line up.
Admission is free and it will run from 11 Sunday morning until 3 in the afternoon.
