One of the proposals being floated by the provincial government to raise revenue is highway tolls, including one from Saint John to Rothesay.
The options have been released just before the Legislature gets back into session tomorrow.
The Minister responsible for the strategic program review, Victor Boudreau says the options put forward were not pulled from thin air but came from those New Brunswickers who took part in the consultations that were held around the province either in person or online.
The strategic program review report concedes regular commuters from the K-V who drive to work each day in Saint John would incur significant costs if they had to pay a highway toll each way over the course of a year.
