If you’re unemployed, here’s your chance to change that.
The St. Stephen and Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Charlotte County Job & Entrepreneur Fair at the Garcelon Civic Center today.
Chamber President Jeremy Barham says there will be on-site interviews, so bring your resume. “You know there’s lots of new businesses opening, and they are looking for people. We did this two years ago and we only had fourteen businesses, but, with those fourteen businesses we had around 160 jobs being offered. And 22 people were hired that day.”
Barham says this year, they have almost double the amount of businesses and are hoping for around 200 jobs available in the St. Stephen and Charlotte County area.
Barham says to dress like you’re going to an interview, because essentially that is what this is. He says to bring your resume, and there will be private rooms available for on-site interviews.
The Charlotte County Job & Entrepreneur Fair will run from 10am to 7pm at the Garcelon Civic Center.
