Maritime volunteers with the Canadian Red Cross are heading to Alberta to help Fort McMurray fire victims.
Red Cross teams in Alberta are supporting shelter operations in Edmonton, Calgary, Lac La Biche and Drayton Valley.
The Red Cross has opened several of its operations centres across the country, including one in Saint John, where disaster volunteers are able to share the workload of processing incoming calls.
More then $30 million dollars has been raised from supporters across the country.
The Federal government will match donations from individuals made within Canada until the end of the month.
