The provincial government’s first annual report on bullying is expected to be submitted to the legislature in the coming weeks.
This comes after an initiative by the Education and Early Childhood Development Minister to prevent bullying, through intervention in our schools.
Serge Rouselle recently announced that an anti-bullying Coordinator has been hired to provide more support for students in all seven school districts.
Rouselle says the Coordinator will also be responsible for providing guidance, and promoting the students mental health, instead of just dealing with bullying, their goal will be to avoid bullying in the first place.
