The Los Angeles Dodgers have interviewed former Arizona manager Kirk Gibson for their managerial opening. Gibson hit that famous home run for the Dodgers in the 1988 World Series against Oakland A’s reliever Dennis Eckersley after coming off the bench and barely being able to make it around the bases that’s widely viewed as turning the series around. It was the last time the Dodgers won the World Series.
