If you’re a baseball fan, you probably know who Andrew Case is, and if you don’t you will soon.
The Saint John native has been working his way up the Toronto Blue Jays farm system and his hard work paid off this year as a member of the Vancouver Canadians.
He recieved the pitcher of the year award.
Case pitched for the Vancouver Canadians and the Lansing Lugnuts this past season, both affiliated with the Blue Jays.
He says his goal for next season is to get called up to the Dunedin Blue Jays, which is just steps away from the world of professional baseball
Case says he hopes to work on his fastball in the offseason, which currently peaks at 94 mph.
