Former New Brunswick Premier David Alward now has another title to add to his resume.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Rob Nicholson announcing that Alward has been named Canada’s consul general in Boston.
Premier Brian Gallant issuing a statement on the appointment saying they are pleased to have a New Brunswicker and former premier representing our country through this position.
Alward, who was born in Massachusetts, served one term as Premier before his Progressive Conservatives were defeated by Gallant’s Liberals last fall.
