The RCMP in Hampton releasing details about an attempted armed robbery that took place Saturday night shortly before 10:00 at a convenience store on Upper Golden Grove Road and are asking for help to identify whomever was responsible.
Police say the robber was armed with a weapon but took off before getting any money and the store clerk was not hurt.
The suspect is described as being five feet eight to five feet ten inches tall with a medium build. He or she was wearing a white balaclava, a white and black scarf, a hoodie with white, fur-like trim around the hood and a white ski jacket with brown, pink and white triangle designs on it.
