Andrew Hind is in charge of hiring for Shopify, he says they’re looking to hire candidates right here in Saint John. If you’ve ever bought something online, chances are you bought it from a store powered by Shopify.
Hind says if you do get the job, you’d be working in areas like payment gateways, taxes, shipping setting, marketing and social media.
He says they’re looking to hire people with personality, not necessarily based on how experienced you are with technology.
The hiring events will be held this afternoon at Connexionworks on Germain Street from 2-4 and then this evening starting at 7 at the Saint John Ale House.
