It’s not often that the City of Moncton gets national exposure on a show like “The View”.
Moncton firefighters received a mention by Whoopi Goldberg featured on the show yesterday afternoon.
This came with a big thank you from the Comedian, for putting out the fire on her tour bus Saturday night at Casino NB.
On the show she says, “The Moncton Fire Department came like that, and helped put this fire out. We were in the middle of Canada, just across from St. John’s Island. From where the Hotel is to the border, there’s nothing. So if it had gone up five minutes from where I was, we would not have been able to put the fire out. We would not have been able to communicate with the fire department.”
Goldberg also posted up the picture she had taken posing with Moncton firefighters.
