The second-degree murder trial of Dennis Oland being shown a video of Constable Stephen Davidson of the Saint John police, who would later become the lead investigator in the Richard Oland case, interviewing Dennis Oland on July 7, 2011 which is the day Richard Oland’s body was discovered in his investment firm in uptown Saint John. The trial hearing that Dennis was initially considered a witness but by 8:22pm on July 7 he was considered a suspect in the murder of his father.
