Premier Susan Holt had several meetings in the United States over the weekend.
On Saturday, she with the Democratic governor of Massachusetts, Maura Healey.
Holt says New Brunswick depends on the U.S more than any other province, so it’s important to show their leaders how tariffs would raise prices for things in the states.
Holt also visited the Seafood Expo of North America with Fisheries Minister Pat Finnigan.
Yesterday, she hosted a roundtable with New England businesses and met with 60 from New Brunswick.
Holt says these meetings will help find ways to support the economy.
