Atlantic Business Magazine is out with its fifth annual list of Atlantic Canada’s 25 Most Powerful Women in Business.
The annual list is meant to celebrate businesswomen of influence who live and work in Atlantic Canada.
Nearly half of the winners on this year’s list come from New Brunswick, including:
- Courtney Burns, president and CEO, Greater Moncton International Airport Authority Inc. (Dieppe)
- Helena Cain, vice-president, Atlantic Enterprise and National Mid Market Sales, Bell Canada (Saint John)
- Dawn Dalley, president and CEO, CAA Atlantic Ltd. (Saint John)
- Dr. Sarah Gander, co-founder and board chair, NB Social Pediatrics Inc. (Rothesay)
- Dr. Maryam Kebbe, director, Perinatal-Pediatric Health & Development Studies (PEADS) Laboratory; Assistant Professor, Faculty of Kinesiology, University of New Brunswick (Fredericton)
- Angele Miller, CEO and co-founder, Creekside RnR Glamping Resort (Cocagne)
- Janet Moser, executive director, New Brunswick Business Immigrants Association (Fredericton)
- Emily Rodger, executive coach, outdoorswoman, travel host, speaker (Fredericton)
- Dr. Lesley Steele, owner, Steele Veterinary Group (Fredericton)
- Jenna White, founder and CEO, Jenna’s Nut-Free Dessertery (Fredericton)
Almost 200 nominations were received for this year’s competition and were submitted online through Atlantic Business Magazine’s website.
Each nominee was asked to complete a detailed information form and provide two letters of reference to complete their nomination package.
Completed nomination packages were forwarded to a six-person panel of judges, comprised of Powerful Women alumni, including NB Power President and CEO Lori Clark, a winner in 2024.
