Another opportunity to provide input on the new North End Secondary Plan being developed by the city.
An open house discussion will take place at the Nick Nicolle Community Centre on Wednesday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m.
It will be a chance to explore possible options and understand the scope of any input and concerns.
“Participation from residents is highly valued and everyone is encouraged to join in this conversation,” the city said in a news release.
“Together, we can work towards effective solutions and ensure the best options for the growth, safety and well-being of our community.”
Officials have said the aim of the plan is to help shape growth and development throughout the north end.
An advisory committee made up of 11 people who work, live or volunteer in the north end will provide feedback and advice on the plan.
Among the participants are Deputy Mayor John MacKenzie, Coun. Barry Ogden, Tamara Kelly with ONE Change and Anne Driscoll of the Crescent Valley Association.
The city has hired Fotenn Consulting to help with the creation of the North End Secondary Plan policy as well as the community engagement strategy.
