RCMP are looking to identify a man following an incident as a gas station near St. George.
The incident happened at a business on Main Street in Upper Letang at around 11:15 a.m. Tuesday.
“While fueling his pickup truck, an individual made a gesture toward the business owner that led the owner to believe the person would be armed,” RCMP said in a news release on Thursday.
The owner went back inside the business and the man, believed to be in his 30s, fled the scene without paying.
He was wearing a black hoodie, black pants and brown footwear at the time of the incident.
Police said he was driving a dark-coloured pickup truck with noticeable body damage.
