Around two-thirds of eligible voters cast ballots in the provincial election.
Elections NB said voter turnout across the province came in at 66.09 per cent.
That is similar to the turnout we saw in 2018 (66.04 per cent) and 2020 (66.14 per cent).
Voter turnout in the last seven provincial elections — from 2003 to 2024 — has ranged from 64.65 per cent to 69.56 per cent.
That is down from around 75 per cent in the 1995 and 1999 elections, 80 per cent in 1991 and nearly 82 per cent in 1987.
Quispamsis had one of the highest voter turnouts in this election at 74.24 per cent, according to an analysis of Elections NB data.
That was the riding where Progressive Conservative Leader Blaine Higgs lost to Liberal Aaron Kennedy by nearly 200 votes.
Hanwell-New Maryland and Tracadie were the only two ridings with higher voter turnout at 74.97 per cent and 74.7 per cent, respectively.
Meanwhile, Saint John Harbour had the lowest level of engagement in the province at 50.52 per cent. Saint John Portland-Simonds also saw low voter turnout at 56.11 per cent.
The riding of Moncton Centre was not far behind with a voter turnout of just over 57 per cent.
