If you looked up at the sky last night, you may have been lucky enough to catch the Northern Lights.
The Aurora Borealis appeared across Canada because of a geomagnetic storm.
According to the NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center, it was a level G4 storm, with chances for level G5.
That means there could have been power control issues and possible blackouts, as well as problems using radios and satellite navigation.
Many photos on social media show a pink-red sky with hints of green lights.
