A tribute procession was held Friday in honour of the former president and chairperson of Irving Oil.
Arthur Irving, son of founder K.C. Irving, passed away from cancer on Monday in Boston at the age of 93.
On Friday afternoon, a procession of company fleet vehicles weaved its way throughout Saint John.
Dozens of employees and residents lined the street outside the company’s head office uptown.
The procession also went by the company’s refinery on Loch Lomond Road and Irving’s home on Mount Pleasant Avenue.
A public service in memory of Irving will take place at his home starting at 10 a.m. Saturday.
