The Integrated Enforcement Unit has made another five arrests in connection with Operation Caliper, a drug trafficking investigation.
The I.E.U. include police officers from the Saint John Police, Kennebecasis Regional Police Force and the Department of Justice and Public Safety.
On Tuesday, search warrants were executed at a north end home in Saint John where two loaded guns, a crossbow and more than $14,000 in cash were seized.
Officers also seized pills thought to be Fentanyl, cocaine, crystal meth, hydromorphone, methamphetamine and Percocet worth about $80,000 on the street.
Contraband cigarettes worth about $20,000 were also seized.
A 41-year-old man and a 62-year-old man and three women between the ages of 30 and 70 were arrested for drug and weapon-related charges.
The men and a 70-year-old woman are due in court on Wednesday.
Two other women were released with a court date in February.
On November 17th, the Integrated Enforcement Unit made two arrests as part of Operation Caliper.
A man and a woman in their 20s were arrested and officers also seized cocaine and more than $5,000 in cash.
