Planned paving work on the Habour Bridge scheduled for Thursday and Friday has been delayed by the forecasted rain.
An update was provided by the provincial government on Thursday afternoon.
Drivers will now see intermittent full bridge closures begin this Sunday, November 27th.
The closures will allow for asphalt trucks to pass through to the site.
Flaggers will be providing traffic control during this time.
Weather delays have postponed paving on the east end of the bridge.
It’s now planned for the week of December 5.
Lines will be painted and barriers will be moved when the paving is finished.
The Harbour Bridge is still scheduled to re-open to full traffic on December 16th.
