A six-week drug trafficking investigation has resulted in two arrests.
The Saint John Police Street Crime Integrated Enforcement Unit (I.E.U) executed search warrants on November 17 at a north-end residence in Saint John.
A total of approximately 437 grams of a controlled substance that is believed to be cocaine was seized with an approximate street value of $43,700.
Also, police seized over $5000 in Canadian currency.
A 25-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman were arrested for possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and proceeds of crime.
The man was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, November 18.
The woman was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court in late February.
