Two more New Brunswickers who have COVID-19 have died.
A person in their 70s in the Miramichi health zone and an individual 90 or older in the Bathurst region have passed away.
This increases the province’s death toll to 308.
Health officials are also seeing a slight decline in COVID-19 hospitalizations.
The number of patients in the hospital connected to the virus is 88 which is a decrease of one from Wednesday.
Of that total, 41 individuals were admitted to the hospital for COVID-19 while 47 were admitted for other reasons.
Six patients require intensive care while two patients are on a ventilator.
The province recorded 391 PCR tests with positive results and 626 rapid tests.
The active case count on Tuesday was 3,717.
In terms of vaccinations, 87.1 per cent of eligible New Brunswickers have had both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine while 50.2 per cent have had a booster shot.
