A man has been arrested and is facing weapons-related charges after a traffic stop in Saint John.
On Sunday, the Saint John Police Force received a report that a vehicle was stolen.
On Monday, at approximately 1:41 a.m., a member of SJPF spotted the vehicle parked on Peters Street.
Police stopped the vehicle and located a rifle and body armour during a search.
A 27-year-old man was arrested and charged with weapons-related offences.
The accused was held in custody and was scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
