The number of deaths related to COVID-19 in New Brunswick has surpassed 250.
Four more people who had the virus have died, bringing the total to 251.
The deaths involve a person in their 70s from the Saint John region, and three people 90 and over from either the Fredericton or Bathurst health zones.
Hospitalizations remain unchanged from Wednesday, however, ICU admissions are down by two to 14.
There are six patients on a ventilator, which is up by one from Wednesday.
A total of 392 healthcare workers are isolating after testing positive for COVID-19.
Public Health identified 411 new cases on Thursday, based on PCR testing data. Of these new cases, 108 are in the Moncton region, and 103 are in the Saint John region.
Public Health is reporting 411 new positive PCR tests and 485 positive rapid tests.
Across the province, 92.2 per cent of the eligible population has received their first dose, 84.8 per cent has received two doses, and 45.2 per cent has received a booster.
The rate of new PCR cases is 53.5 per 100,000 for those considered “protected” – having received their second dose within six months and/or have received their booster dose – and 56.9 per 100,000 for those with partial or no protection.
Of those currently in hospital, the rate is 36.8 per 100,000 for those considered protected and 108.5 per 100,000 for those with partial or no protection.
Among those in the ICU, the rates are 7.4 per 100,000 for those considered protected and 35.7 per 100,000 for those with partial or no protection.
