Another six New Brunswickers who had COVID-19 have died.
Public Health mentioned they include four people in their 80s in the Moncton, Fredericton, Bathurst, and Miramichi regions, a person 90 or older from the Bathurst zone, and a person in their 40s from the Miramichi region have died.
There are 137 patients in the hospital, a decrease of one from Tuesday.
Eight of those patients are in the ICU, a decrease of three from Tuesday.
One patient is on a ventilator.
The hospitalizations include 107 people aged 60 or over and four under the age of 20.
There are 489 healthcare workers who have tested positive for the virus and are isolating.
Public Health reported 520 new positive cases through PCR testing and 691 positive rapid test results.
More than 40 per cent of the eligible population have received their COVID-19 booster dose.
As well, to date, 55.3 per cent of eligible children aged five to 11 have received their first dose.
